Shien owner Isao Inoue is passionate about her work as a flower designer.

I studied ikebana under Mika Otani, a Sogetsu-ryu ikebana artist, and honed my skills in the art. As a result, I obtained the Sogetsu-ryu master's qualification, which normally takes 3 to 5 years to acquire, in a short period of six months.

After that, she apprenticed under flower designer Jun Iwai at "Iwai Jun Design Studio," and within just about a year of joining the company, she had grown to the point where she was entrusted with the display for the street-level store in Omotesando.
This valuable experience further strengthened Inoue's desire to "own his own flower shop," and he decided to become independent.

While I was preparing to become independent, I had a fateful encounter with a shop called "Yama to Hachimitsu" (Mountain and Honey) in front of Shoin Shrine, and that connection naturally led me down the path of becoming a florist.
Then, in April 2022, she opened her own flower shop, "Shien," in Sangenjaya.

Currently, we have a shop in Sangenjaya, and we value our customers' smiles above all else.
We propose a lifestyle that allows you to feel healing and joy through flowers, and we hope to share the wonderfulness of having flowers in your daily life.
